The proceedings of the 23rd International Conference on Difference Equations and Applications (ICDEA 2017) will be published in a special volume of the series Springer Proceedings in Mathematics & Statistics entitled Recent Progress in Difference Equations, Discrete Dynamical Systems and Applications, Editors: Saber Elaydi, Christian Pötzsche and Adina Luminița Sasu.

The volume will include new and significant contributions in the field of difference equations, discrete dynamical systems and their applications to various sciences. A central aim is to disseminate recent studies and related results and in the same time to promote the recent progress in the field of difference equations and discrete dynamical systems.

All participants are invited to submit their contributions via e-mail to proceedings.icdea2017@gmail.com

The manuscripts will be evaluated through a peer review process. The referees will evaluate the scientific quality of the paper(s), the originality of the work, the novelty and the impact to the further development in the area.
